The Moray Raid
20 sept 2025
The most fun gravel ride in the uk? we think so!
every year the moray raid gets a totally new route
+++ in fact two new routes; long and short +++
featuring champagne gravel, rough tracks, logging roads, sandy coastal trails, singletrack, back roads and plenty more.
bikes, friends, pizza, ace trails and beer!
Sounds good? It is! Now entering it’s 5th year, the Moray Raid has established itself as a unique and special ride showing off the amazing riding, friendly local folk and hidden gem that is Moray. Last years ride sold out in minutes, so be sure to buy a ticket so you can bag one of the best days out in the UK. We look forward to seeing you there.
The MorayRaid started back in 2021 with a vision of putting on a social event showcasing some of the best of Moray's off-road cycling and to incorporating local businesses.
The Raid is more about the challenge of a big day out and camaraderie between riders staying away from a race format and keeping things social. We have kept the same winning format and tweaked things slightly over the years after taking on-board rider feedback. The routes change each year to keep things fresh and showcase more of the diverse landscape Moray has to offer and we also strive to offer value for money where each entrant receives a well thought out gpx route with options of a long and short route (90miles/55miles approx) a beer from the local craft brewery & food from one of our many excellent mobile caterers based in Moray also all riders receive a finishers medal and some goodies thrown in and all this for what we feel is a very reasonable and competitive entry fee in today’s financial climate.
Each year the event has been a complete sell out with a waiting list right up to the day of the event in 2025 will be limited to 150 ticket and we expect to sell out again, so riders need to get in quick to avoid disappointment.
This year for the 2025 edition we have teamed up with a local brewery Spey Valley Brewery for the beers and a Spruce & Stag wood fired pizzas for some top scran.

“the best weekend of the year!”
